Code of Ethics

Preamble

As a member of the SSAIA Network and as a minister of Jesus Christ, I have been called by God to proclaim the gospel and gifted by the Spirit to minister and/or lead God’s people. I choose to dedicate myself to conducting my life and my ministry according to the ethical guidelines and principles set forth in this code of ethics. This will help ensure that both my life and my ministry may be acceptable to God, that my service be beneficial to the body of Christ, and that my life be a witness to the world.

As a member of the SSAIA Network, I have the responsibility to adhere to the following code of ethics:

  • I will submit to God as He makes me through the development of my character. I believe that this personal process must occur before a release into a public ministry. (Genesis 1:26-27)

  • I will submit to Godly authority as appointed by the SSAIA Network leadership and their evolution of me as a person and not just my performance as a minister of the Gospel. (Hebrews 13:17)

  • I will seek counsel from mature leadership designated within the SSAIA Network and/or the Body of Christ. (Proverbs 11:14; 15:22)

  • I will maintain a character that is above reproach and will not bring dishonor to the name of Jesus Christ, the Church, or the SSAIA Network. (1 Corinthians 2:4-5)

  • I will not seek to bring division in the Church or within the SSAIA Network. (1  Corinthians 1:10)

  • I will not use my connection under the IMPACT Network for self-seeking interests  (i.e. recruiting others in an attempt to launch your own network). (1 Corinthians  1:10)

  • I will lead by example and live a balanced life that shows both the fruit and gifts of the Spirit. (Galatians 5:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10)

  • I will commit to exhibiting a Christ-like character, being dependable, steadfast and  one who keeps his word. (Galatians 5:22-23)

  • I will be honest, ethical and righteous in all my dealings with every person. (Proverbs  2:20-21)

  • I will walk in honesty and handle the word of God without deceit. (2 Corinthians  4:1-2)

  • As a guest minister – when receiving an honorarium – I will have a prior agreement  before ministering. (Proverbs 4:7)

  • I will not manipulate nor deceive God’s people including in attempts to receive an  offering. (1 Timothy 3:6)

  • I will guard my heart against all kinds of greed. (Luke 12:15)

  • I will not purposefully seek to be offensive to others that no fault may be found with  my ministry. (2 Corinthians 6:3)

  • I will speak the truth in love and rightly divide the word of truth. (Ephesians 4:15;  2 Timothy 2:15)

  • I believe in the biblical definition of marriage between one man and one woman.  (Genesis 2:24)

  • I will not conduct a marriage ceremony between two men nor two women. (Genesis  2:24)

  • As a husband/wife, I will be faithful to my spouse, maintain right priorities and  balance my commitments at home and abroad. (1 Timothy 3:2, 5; 1 Peter 3:1, 7)

  • I will not use my position of authority to take advantage of men nor women for sexual relationships outside of marriage. (Ephesians 5:3)

  • Sexual sins will disqualify me from holding a position of leadership in ministry. (1  Corinthians 5:1-2, 11)

  • My motivation for ministry is to obey God and to serve His people. (Matthew 6:1)

  • My motivation is not to please men but to please God who tests my heart. (1  Thessalonians 2:4)

Acceptance Of Terms And Conditions

Your acceptance of membership in the SSAIA Network constitutes your agreement to be bound  by the following terms and conditions.

The SSAIA Network is a Christian network that expects all of their members’ activities and lives be conducted under the highest degree of integrity and honesty. Therefore the SSAIA Network  maintains the right to assume the following to be the beliefs and practices of all members.

Assumption

  • Believe you love God and are accountable to Him and mankind and that is the  primary motivation for your Christian relationships and behavior within a Christian  network.

  • Believes God, the Holy Spirit, places in every believer the inner resources and  attributes to minister through supportive relationships such as a network of ministers.

  • Believes the Bible is our authority and that it provides the essential teachings and  principles for our personal and community (network) conduct.

  • Living in fellowship with others is a privilege and an expression of God’s grace. In recognition of this privilege, we place great value on the quality of relationships within our network. We acknowledge that the SSAIA Network provides a community whereby we depend on and are accountable to one another. The New Testament word for fellowship is koinonia. It is translated as partaker, communion, communication, contribution, and distribution. Members therefore are encouraged to seek as many opportunities as possible to demonstrate koinonia. Within our community of churches  and ministers the greatest expression of fellowship and the highest principle for relationship is love.  As scripture states:

“We should love one another. This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down  His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers… let us not love with  words or tongue, but with actions as in truth. Since God loved us, we ought to love one  another. Whoever loves God must also love his brothers.” (1 John 3:11-16, 18; 4:11,  21 NIV)

The SSAIA Network reserves the right to investigate and/or terminate your membership if you misuse your membership privileges and/or behave in a way which could be regarded as inappropriate, immoral, dishonest or not resembling Christian character. The following is a list of the types of actions you may NOT engage in as a member of the SSAIA Network without authorization.

You may not:

• Solicit money from any members.

• Collect names and personal information of members to promote your personal  ministry, church, network or business without the knowledge and consent of the SSAIA Network Administrative Team.

• Express or imply that any statements you make publicly or privately are endorsed  by Apostle Dr. Asia Turner or the SSAIA Network without specific prior written consent.

• Impersonate any person or entity of the SSAIA Network.

I have read and understand this agreement. I accept and agree to all of its terms and conditions. I enter into this agreement voluntarily, with full knowledge of its expectations. I have completed  my membership application honestly, with no falsification of personal and ministerial information.  I understand that my membership may be revoked if I have falsified any information on my  application.
